Ruth Keeton

Wilson- Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth Keeton ,70, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Pastor Michael Caraway officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson, Oklahoma.

Ruth (Choate) Keeton was born December 1, 1943 to the late Mr. Ernest E. Choate ad Mrs.Mary Ann “Annie” Martin at Ringling, OK. She passed from this life Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Ardmore, OK.

Ruth was raised at Ringling and attended school there. She married Wilborn K. “Skinny” Keeton on January 21,1977 in Gainesville, TX. Ruth was a devoted homemaker and loved to work in her yard. She loved frogs and her dogs. Ruth was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of Ardmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Ann Martin; Husband, “Skinny” Keeton; Sisters, Joy Tanner and Lorene Pemberton.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Angie Mapp and Larry Covey of Healdton and Rhonda Gurrola and husband, Dr. Alexander Gurrola of Ardmore; Sons, Jerry Dunn and wife, Holly of Lone Grove, Michael Keeton of Lone Grove, Steven Keeton of Wilson; Sister , Betty Ann Pemberton and husband, Barry of Ringling; Brothers, Bob Choate and wife, Pat of Ringling and Bill Choate of John Day, Oregon; Grandchildren, Monica, Christopher, Lindsey,Caleb, Carter, Hannah, Jami and Jordan; Great Grandchildren, Sydney, Makala, Kaine, Camille, Derek, Gwyn and Keeton; Numerous other Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Caleb Ford, Carter Gurrola, Derek Allen, Jordan Dunn, barry Pemberton and Ricky Branch.

Honorary Bearers are Tiny Stow and Christopher Mapp.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5 – 7 PM at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
