Royce was born April 5, 1941 at Caddo, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Douglas Barry Pettie and Mrs. Mattie Maye (Howell) Pettie. He departed this life Monday, March 3, 2014 at Mercy Hospital of Healdton, OK.

Royce was raised in Caddo most of his life attending school there. He resided there the majority of his life. Royce married Brenda Carol Erich as a young man and they spent many wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on June 11, 1986. He later married nancy Chapman on March 3, 2012 at Marietta, OK. and they resided in Ringling. Royce worked a lot as a ruckdriver and also worked as a horse trainer.

In addition to his wife, Brenda Pettie also preceding him in death are his parents, Doulas and Mattie Pettie; Two daughters, Terry and Mitzie and grandchildren Tuff Grice and Stoney Boone.

Royce is survived by his Wife Nancy (Clark) Pettie of the home; Daughter, Arilian Jean Pettie, Sons, Royce Wayne Pettie, Keith Pettie, Randy Pettie and Dusty Pettie; Brothers, Doug Pettie and Jackie Pettie; 18 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren
