Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Rosie M. Richardson, 69, of Ringling, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Rubottom Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Eakins, Rev. Jimmy May and Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Grady Cemetery at Grady. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.


Rosie was born November 1, 1942 at Muleshoe, TX to the late M.L. and Notie M. (Houk) Hammons. She departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Oklahoma City.


Rose moved to the Orr area at the age of 2 years old. She attended Orr Grade School for 8 years and graduated from Ringling High School in 1960. Rose and Dale Richardson were married December 5th, 1964 in Wichita Falls, TX. She lived most of her life at her present location, south of Ringling. They moved to Greenville, TX in 1966 and then moved back to Ringling in 1970.

Rose was saved and Baptized at an early age and was a proud member of the Rubottom Baptist Church where she served her Lord since 1979. Rose’s hobby was sending cards to friends and people who just needed a lift. She loved to sew and crochet with friends and loved her home and enjoyed decorating it, and always enjoyed receiving cards and calls from friends and family.


Preceding her in Death are her Parents, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.


Survivors include her Husband Dale of the Home, 2 Daughters; Renell of Ringling, Misty of Loco; 2 Sons, Norman of Edmond, and Bobby of Ringling; 8 Grandchildren, Heath and Derek Longest , Ellison and Tyner Richardson, Tanner and Trevor Richardson, Sterling and Tegan Hoggard; 2 Great Grandchildren, Conner and Rylee Jo Longest, all who were the pride of her life. 2 Sisters, Kathleen of Wichita Falls, TX and Loretta of Willis Point, TX; Brother Bobby Hammons of Ringling. Numerous other family and friends.


Pallbearers are Jerry Hawkins, Donnie Hurst, Mike Parker, Paul Hallum, C.W. Hallum, and Tommy Harris.


Honorary Bearers will be grandchildren and son-in- law, Terry Hoggard and her sewing class.


Family visitation will be 2 to 4 pm Sunday Afternoon at the funeral home in Ringling.
