Ronald Richard Young

Memorial Services for Mr. Ronald Richard Young, 32 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Kevin Pridemore officiating.

Ronnie was born December 22, 1980 at Ardmore to Floyd Richard Young and Deleta Lynn (Perkins) Young. He departed this life Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital of Ardmore.

Ronnie was raised in this area and Kingston graduating from Healdton High School in 1980. After school he attempted to join the United States Army but was denied due to his health and soon began a career in the oilfield. He began working in the Oilfield as a floor hand for White’s Well Service and soon progressed to the rig operator position. Ronnie worked for several pulling unit companies since and was lastly employed for Nubs Well Service as a roustabout hand. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed hunting and fishing and working on old trucks. As a child Ronnie attended the Kingston Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Kenneth Clem, Sr.

Survivors include his Children, Ronnie, Tyler, Rebecca, Kodi and R.J. Young; Parents, Kenneth Clem and Deleta Young of Healdton; Grandmothers, Oretha Wadkins of Countyline and Gladys Clem of Willis; Great Grandfather, Roy Cummings of Campbell, TX; Sisters, Shawnda Woodard and Christina Pope both of McAlester; Brother, Paul Young of Countyline; numerous other family and friends.
