Ronald Gene Paul

November 11, 1947 — May 4, 2023

Ringling - Mr. Ronald Gene Paul was born November 11, 1947 in San Antonio, TX to the late Mr. Karl Malcolm and Evelyn Mildred (Slawson) Paul.  He departed from this life on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Ardmore, OK.  Cremation Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling, OK. 


Ronald lived in Pearsall, TX as a small child and always spoke about the orange tree in his backyard.  The family moved home to Ringling where he attended public schools at Zaneis and Ringling.  He loved playing high school football graduating from Ringling in 1966.  Ronald joined the Ringling Quarterback Club in 1967 where the name was later changed to Ringling Booster Club in order to support all the school sports.  In high school, he met Tina Belle Underwood and they married June 24, 1966 and to this union, they were blessed with two children, Stephen Vance Paul and Heather Saint Paul Bradberry.  


Ronald served his country honorably for 12 years in the 45th infantry division in the Oklahoma National Guard.  Ronald had worked within the oilfield industry for many years in Oklahoma and Texas before working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 35 years.  Upon his retirement, Ronald received a commendation from the Governor of Oklahoma.  He enjoyed fishing in the Red River, Mudcreek and Walnut Bayou.   Ronald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle in Ringling.


Preceded him in death by his parents; his sister, Donna Kay Paul Wade and a great granddaughter, Raynie Suzanne Paul. 


Ronald is survived by his wife, Tina Belle Paul of the home; son, Vance; daughter and son in law, Heather and Joel Bradberry; 5 grandchildren, Erika, Clayton, Cody Paul, Beau and Maddie Bradberry; 4 great grandchildren, Kylie, Allie, Rylie and Cole Paul; brother, Larry Ray Paul; nieces, Brandi Donn Wade Phelps and Laura Paul and many more family, cousins and friends.
