Ronald Douglas Cooper, Jr. was born March 6, 1969, to Mr. Ronald Douglas Cooper, Sr. and Mrs. Virginia Marie (Gunther) Cooper at Detroit, Michigan. He departed this life Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the hospital in Ardmore.
Ronald grew up and attended school at Lone Grove graduating High School there. He soon after went on to work at Wal-Mart, stocking shelves, and was employed there for over 12 years. Ronald then went to work for Loves Truck Stop, a job he enjoyed very much. He continued working for Loves for around 5 years. Ronald loved watching wrestling, crime/cop shows, and most of all Nascar. He also liked to go fishing often at Lake Jean Neustadt. Ronald was a collector of anything Nascar related.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Cooper, Sr.; grandparents, Rudolph and Margaret Gunther; great grandmother, Margaret Walls; Aunt, Vicki Slone; Uncle, Carl Perrington; cousin, Larry Sloan; and Sister-in-law, Tammie Cooper.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Cooper of Lone Grove; brothers, Rudolph Cooper of Colorado and Robert Cooper of New Mexico; nephews, Sammy Williams and Derrell Eutsey of Lone Grove and Earl Sloan of Ardmore; nieces, Renee Carter of Marietta, Kay Bumgarner and Alexis Spradling both of Ardmore; wife, Tammey Cooper of Lone Grove; numerous other family and friends.
Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory in Ringling.
