Roberta Arminta Ann Caldwell

July 18, 1945 — April 28, 2017

Wilson - Memorial Services for Miss. Roberta "Robbe" Arminta Ann Caldwell, 71, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Wilson with Pastor Waylon Dancer officiating. Services are under the care and direction Alexander Funeral Home.


Robbe was born on July 18, 1945 at Yakima, Washington to the late Mr. David Dennis Caldwell, Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy (Estes) Caldwell. She departed from this life on Friday, April 28, 2017 at her home in Wilson.


Robbe was raised in Northern California, where she was the mascot for Arcata High School. She then attended Humboldt College before joining the U.S. Navy. She served honorably as a corpsman for 2 years. Robbe was blessed with two sons, Vince and Patrick. They were her love of her life.

Robbe finished her college degree at Illinois receiving her Bachelors Degree in business. In 1985, she and her family moved to Wilson to be closer to their family. They joined the First United United Methodist of Wilson where Robbe has been very active since. She worked outside her home mostly in the emergency room at Mercy Memorial Hospital for 20 as an ER Technician. Robbe was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a sweet and kind spirit who enjoyed most spending time with her family and church family.


Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, Denny Caldwell; nephew, Scott Martinson and sister in law, Joyce Caldwell.


Robbe is survived by her sons, Vince Summy and fiance Edith Vernon of Wilson and Patrick Summy of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Tanner Summy of Edmond, Brooke Summy, Benjamin Summy and Elizabeth Summy all of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Kathy Caldwell of Sacramento, CA, brother Daniel "Dan" Caldwell and wife Zedda of Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews.
