Robert Wayne Lansford

Ringling- Graveside services for Mr. Robert "Bobby" Wayne Lansford, 71, of Hobbs, NM formerly of Wilson, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Beaver Family Cemetery north of Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Bobby was born on February 26, 1943 in Ardmore, OK to late Mr. Lester L. Jr. and Mrs. Maxine M. Lansford. He passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Hobbs, NM.

Bobby was rasied in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1961. He married the former Ms. Gloria Beaver on April 3, 1964 in Ada, and they celebrated over 50 wonderful years of marriage. Bob and Gloria moved to Hobbs in 1978 and he worked for Halliburton for 13 years before starting his company, Lanxco. Bob loved to fish and was an avid reloader of firearm ammunition. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Daisy.

Survivors include in his wife, Gloria Lansford of the home; daughter, Rae Ham and husband, Charlie of Hobbs; sister, Nancy Morgan of Indiana; brother, Lester Lee Lansford, III of Lawton, OK and grandson, Seth Ham.
