Robert Newton Burns

Grady - Graveside Services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Newton Burns, 68, formerly of Grady are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at Grady Cemetery with Joe Wilkerson officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.

Bob was born on June 20, 1952 at Wichita Falls, TX to the late Mr. John Burns and Mrs. Patty (Gann) Burns. He departed this life on Friday October 30, 2020 at Bloomfield, NM.

Bob was raised near Grady residing on the family ranch. He graduated high school at Ringling and furthered his education at OSU where he received his Bachelors Degree. He married the former Kathy Fitzsimmons on Nov. 30, 1991 at Ringling. They made their home in Ringling and where they owned and operated the Tag Agency for several years. They moved to New Mexico a few years ago to be closer to family. Bob was always full of life and a friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Kathy.

Survivors include his daughter, Sage Burns of Bloomfield, NM; brother, Gann Burns and wife Karen of Grand Prairie, TX; nieces, Mandi Jaquez and husband Josh and their children Tayler and Lynden, Shawn Murrah and husband Randell and their children Harlee and Hanson; nephew Gary Burns and wife Amy; numerous other family and friends.
