Robert Dale Stewart

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Dale Stewart, 68, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 13, 2016 at the Wilson Assembly of God Church with Rev. John Harris and Bro. Michael Tom officiating. Interment will follow at the Bomar Point Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Robert was born on Sept. 6, 1948 at Lindsay, Ok to Mr. Joe Lewis Stewart and Mrs. Jurlie Uzella (O'Dell) Stewart. He departed this life Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at a hospital in Oklahoma City.

Robert was raised in the Fox area graduating from Fox High School in 1966. He attended college at OSU and then returned to this area where he remained the rest of his years. He and the former Ms. Jeannette Bartlett were united in marriage on March 4, 1972 at the Wilson Assembly of God Church. They met while they were both employed at Uniroyal/ Michelin. Robert was employed with Michelin for more than 20 years, working as tire builder.

Robert enjoyed all of his life as a farmer, Rancher and Pecan Wrangler. He loved being outdoors on the land. He loved to hunt and fish and was the happiest when was with his family and close friends. Robert was a member of the New Life Assembly of Healdton.

Preceding him in death was his son, Brent Lewis Stewart - Sept. 20, 1979; brother, Harley Stewart and his mother, Jurlie Stewart.

Survivors include his loving wife Jeannette of the home; daughters, Amanda Stewart of Healdton and Larissa Naim and husband Danial of Southport, FL; father, Mr. Joe Stewart of Healdton; parents in law, Joe and Betty Bartlett of Wilson; sisters, Barbara Hudgens of Healdton, Diana Dickerson and husband Bob of Fox and Debbie Rapier and husband Jim of Ringling; grandsons, Brent Levi Naim and Weston Luke Naim; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers are Patrick Stewart, Bobby Dickerson, Chad Dickerson, Kevin Edwards, Chad Klutts and Jimmy Darrel Snodgrass.

Honorary bearers are David Brady, Richard Marrs, Carl Stewart, Keith Wright and Billy Joe Bartlett.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
