Robert Wayne Cox, 59, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 in Ardmore, OK. Cremation services are being provided by Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Robert was born on December 10, 1965, in Ardmore to Mrs. Nancy Carol (Gaither) Fennel. He grew up in the Healdton and Lone Grove areas and graduated from Lone Grove High School. Following his education, Robert began his career as a truck driver, working particularly in the oilfield and for Halliburton.

On March 14, 2005, Robert married Becky Pearson in Marietta, and together they built their home in Lone Grove. He had a passion for music and enjoyed outdoor activities, including shooting and motorcycle riding and drinking beer. Known for his craftsmanship, Robert was skilled in making gun grips and restoring firearms. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Fennel; grandparents, Cecil and Mary Gaither, grandmother, Cecile Gaither; brother, Danny Ray Cox.

He is survived by his wife Becky Cox; sons Robert Dewayne Cox and Dakota Cox, both of the home, and Kasey Cox and his wife Rebekah of Kingston; daughter Nancy Crenshaw and her husband Corbin of Levelland, Texas; brother Bo Cox of Ardmore; sister Rhonda Christian of Fort Worth, Texas; father Sonny Fennel of Enos, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The legacy of Robert Wayne Cox will live on through the many lives he touched during his time with us. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
