Robert "Bob" Royce Brown

Wilson - Graveside Pavilion Services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Royce Brown, 93 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Bomar Point Cemetery with Lloyd McElhaney officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Bob was born January 9, 1925 in Gene Autry, OK to the late Mr. Sam William Riley Brown and Mrs. May Belle (Hale) Brown. He departed from this life on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Ardmore Veterans Center.

Bob was raised in Wilson most of his life attending school at Berwyn. He served in the US Army serving honorably. Bob married the former Hattie Voncille "Ciel" Sudderth in Healdton, OK on September 17, 1949. She preceded him in death on September 24, 2007. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and adored his great granddaughter Hattie Belle. Bob was a member of the Church of Christ Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Dude, Emory and Clarence Brown; sisters, Emma Butler, Cleo Smith, Doris Dill and infant twin sisters.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Sue Adams and husband Don of Wilson; granddaughter, Brittney Beck and husband Riley of Wilson; great granddaughter, Hattie Belle Beck of Wilson and a sister, Mina Ponder of Ardmore and a host other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Cohoon, Brandon Martin, Von Allen Brown, Gary Mashore, Kelly Robinett and Neil Robinett.

A family visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
