Rickey Dean Mullins

Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mr. Rickey Dean Mullins, 61, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 10 am Friday Jan. 22, 2016 at the Bethesda Church of God in Duncan with Bro. Harold Matheny and Bro. Mike King officiating. Interment will follow at the Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Rickey was born September 2, 1954 at Ardmore to Mr. Ralph Henry Mullins, Sr. and Mrs. Naoma Ruth (Balthrop) Mullins. He departed this life Sunday morning Jan. 17, 2016 at his home in Ratliff City.

Rickey was a native to this area residing in Ratliff City most of his living years. He attended school at Fox and graduated high school in 1972. Shortly thereafter he began a career in the oilfield , starting as a floor hand for what is now Key Energy. There he worked until Jan. 24, 2015, retiring as the Operations Manager. Rickey enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren and cooking for everyone. He was a member of the Bethesda Church of God in Duncan.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ralph Sr., - Feb. 28, 1992 and a brother Claudius Ray - Feb. 6, 2005.

Survivors include his mother, Naoma Mullins of the home in Ratliff; daughter, Kimberly Mullins of Duncan; son, Kevin Mullins and wife Lorna of Oklahoma City and their two children, Mason and Spencer; sisters, Anita Sue Chaffin and husband Bob of Moore and Glenda Jean Sanchez and husband Ben of Ratliff City; brother, Ralph Mullins, Jr. and wife Joyce of Pruitt City; sister in law, Dorothy Mullins of Lillington, NC; special friends, Kelda Perkins, Kerri Pemberton and Marcia Barnett; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Dennis Mullins, Mark Mullins, Ralph Mullins, Jr., David Barnett, Danny Fletcher, Tony Fletcher and Rex Randall Ross.

Honorary Bearers are Henry Norton and Teddy Cox.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
