Richard Dale Robinson

A service of remembrance for Mr. Richard Dale Robinson, 61, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Dewain Duck officiating. Interment will follow at the Newport Cemetery.

Richard was born July 26, 1961 at Duncan to the late Mr. Willie Ray Robinson and Mrs. Bertha Annice (Fore) Robinson. He left this world Saturday evening, February 25, 2023 at his home in Lone Grove.

Richard was raised at Fox where he graduated high school in 1979. He made his home in Lone Grove where he currently owned and operated Robinson Window Tint and Truck accessories, providing this service to every one of the area for many years. Before that he was employed at Michelin of Ardmore for 18 years servicing the tire building department. 

Richard married the former Ms. Janna Bray on March 26, 1997 at Lone Grove, with Dewain Duck as the officiating minister. They made many joyful memories together residing at Lone Grove. Richard treasured his work and hanging about in the shop. He always enjoyed visiting and laughing with his acquaintances and relations. He was baptized as a young person and rededicated his life to Christ previous October.

His parents preceded him in death, mother- Bertha Annice (Fore) Robinson – July 29, 2013 and father, Mr. Willie Ray Robinson - August 1, 2013.

Survivors consist of his loving wife, Janna of the home; children, Kammi Robinson of Lone Grove, Joni Sandwick and husband Josh of Enid and Kyle Robinson and wife Rebecca of Denison; his bonus children, Kristi Inselman and husband Kevin and Kimberly Vines and husband Jacob, all of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Jimmy “Dakota” Snodgrass, Hunter Inselman and wife Abigail, Kayla DeThomas and husband Ostyn, Creede Snodgrass, Jacob “Jake” Vines, V, Taylor Inselman, Scarlett Sandwick, Adalyn Sandwick, Aubree Sandwick and Aviendha Vines; his siblings, Randall Robinson, Wilma Cox and Rodger Robinson; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers are Kyle Robinson, Jimmy “Dakota” Snodgrass, Ostyn DeThomas, Hunter Inselman, Creede Snodgrass, Jacob “Jake” Vines V, Kevin Inselman and Josh Sandwick.

Honorary bearers are the members of the Fox High School Class of 1979.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7 pm at the funeral home in Wilson.
