Rhonda Gale Debord

Rhonda Gale (Griffith) DeBord, 70 of Ardmore departed from this life on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Ardmore, OK.  Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. 

Rhonda was born December 2, 1951 in Ringling, Ok to the late Mr. Frank James Griffith and Mrs. Billie Dean (Apala) Giffith.  She was raised primarily in Lone Grove graduating from Lone Grove High School.  She married Johnny Dean DeBord, Sr. on October 26, 1971 in Gainesville, TX.  They moved to Ardmore where they remained.  Rhonda was a devoted housewife and homemaker, and had held other employments including bartending, and running a pool league at the Moose Lodge.  Johnny preceded her in death on December 6, 2018.  Rhonda loved playing Bingo, pool and had even taught Country Dance lessons. 

Also preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Rusty Griffith; son in law, Richard Brown and a great grandson, Cody Brown. 

Rhonda is survived by her children, Tamera Sue Woodruff and husband Alan of Ardmore, Malissa Brown of Grand Lake Town, and Johnny D. DeBord, Jr. and wife Yolanda of Lone Grove; sisters, Ellen Susie Griffith and David Howard of Wilson and Leslie Michelle Muse of Ardmore; grandchildren, Tiffanie Kepley, Chelci Watkins and husband Steven, Floyd Shawn Kepley and wife Cindy, James Tyler Knight and wife Beth, Calissa Knight, Richard Brown III, Kristina Young and husband Antwone, Ashton Royal and Jordan Royal; 17 great grandchildren; and by a host of other family and friends.
