Rebecca "Allene" Daniel Wade

Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Rebecca Allene (Daniel) Wade, 93 longtime resident of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday October 24, 2015 at the Gospel Tabernacle of Ringling with Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Allene was born July 17, 1922 at Grady, Ok to the late Mr. James Madison Daniel and Mrs. Margaret Ruth (Baylor) Daniel. She departed this life Thursday October 22, 2015 at her home in Ringling.

Allene was raised north of Grady attending school at Oak Hill. She married Mr. Arvie Otto Wade October 7, 1938 in Ringling. They lived in the Center Point area until Otto became manager for the Langford Ranch near Byers, Texas. After forty years of residing there, they moved back to Center Point where they continued to work until retiring in 2007.

Allene was always a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. When they lived at Byers, Allene also worked as a nurses aid and later owned and operated laundromats at Byers and Waurika. She always enjoyed to give and get a "good hug" and always adored all the kids, especially the babies.She was a faithful member of the Gospel Tabernacle of Ringling.

Preceding her in death were her Parents; husband of 76 years, Mr. Otto Wade - Dec. 17, 2014; son Billy Don Wade; grandson, Cody Wade; sisters, Onie Doyal and Pearl Stermer; brothers, Earl, Walter, Cecil, Roy and John Daniel.

Survivors include, 3 sons Sherrell Wade and wife Dean of Byers, TX, Charles Wade and wife Lana of Ringling, Corky Wade and wife Judy of Byers, TX; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special “Thank You” to all the caregivers and Cross Timbers Hospice of Ardmore for their kind felt care and support.

Casket Bearers are Duane Wade, Randy Wade, Burlon Wade, Allen Wade, Bob Earl Stewart and Cotton Wade.

Family visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
