Ringling- Funeral Services for Raymond Herbert Seabolt, 90, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 16, 2009 at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church with Dr. Philip Seabolt and Rev. Jane Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.


Raymond was born October 17, 1918 in Augusta, Kansas to the late Mr. Thomas Herbert and Mrs. Mary Jo (Morgan) Seabolt. He departed this life Friday, March 13, 2009 at his home in Ringling.


Raymond was born in Kansas but moved to Bristow, Oklahoma at a young age. He attended school at Bristow through the 9th grade. After working for a short time Raymond enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served Honorably until 1943. Raymond was then employed with Port Hueneme Naval Base. Raymond and the former Ms. Jean Stockton were united in marriage May 9, 1944, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Ventura County, California where Raymond started working as a Roofer, a job he held for 36 years until he retired. He and Jean moved to Ringling in 1980 where they have lived since. Raymond loved to fish and to visit with everyone he met.


He is preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers, Lloyd Seabolt and Danny Seabolt, 1 Sister, Iva McFadden.


Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Jean Seabolt of the home in Ringling. Many nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers are Sammie Jay Cryer, Scott Cryer, Brady Cryer, Brant Cryer, Travis Cryer and Randy Stone.


Honorary Bearers are Larry Thompson, Dale Butler, Mark Morris, Stanley Hudson and Carol Reed.


Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home in Ringling.
