Ringling - Home going services for Mr. Randall "Randy" Franklin Stepp, 63, of Loco are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday April 2, 2021 at the Healdton Assembly of God Church with Bro. Dan Stewart and Bro. Quenton Newton officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.
Randy was born on April 7, 1957 to the late Mr. George Franklin Stepp and Mrs. Ethel Lois (Abshire) Stepp. He departed this life on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Duncan.
Randy was raised at Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1975. He worked in the oilfield most of his working years, lastly hauling crude oil as a truckdriver for Blue Knight. Randy also farmed and ranched all of his life with his family on the family farm. He loved to go shopping for anything needed, whether it was a part or simply a tag for a vehicle. He was member of the Healdton Masonic Lodge #23 originally being part of the Loco Lodge where he served as a Past Master. As a young man, Randy attended church at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church north of Ringling.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; parents, George and Ethel Stepp; nephew, Marty Fondren and brother in law, Joe Edwards.
Survivors include his sisters, Donna Henley and husband Charles of Healdton, Valerie Edwards and her late husband Joe of Velma, and Angela McClannhan and husband Pat of Claude; brothers, Cless Fondren and wife Margie of Loco, Mike Fondren of Ringling, Kerry Don Stepp and wife Gwenda of Ringling and Glenn Stepp and wife Karen of Loco; numerous nieces and nephews and other family.
Casket bearers are Tuffy Fondren, Zachary Stepp, Stephen Edwards, Jake Edwards, Montana Fondren and Jed Jones.
Honorary bearers are Gary Grother, Jeremiah Jones, David Engelhardt, Johnny Stepp, Wesley Sullivan, Michael Fondren and Pat McCclannahan.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Thursday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Masonic Lodge #23 2232 Texas Street Healdton, OK 73448 or the Ringling Community Benefit Fund PO Box 778 Ringling, OK 73456.
