Ralph Junior Needham

Services for Ralph Junior Needham, 85, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Milo Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston and Caleb Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Ralph was born January 16, 1939, at Pooleville, to the late Mr. Elmer Needham and Mrs. Eula (Kennedy) Needham. He departed this life Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at his home in Healdton.

Ralph was raised at Pooleville, attending school there and later graduated from Graham High School. He began employment with Uniroyal/ Michelin where he worked for a few years and then went to work in the oilfield. He worked on pulling units and numerous other positions while in the oilfield. Ralph was also employed for the Carter County District #2 for several years, driving a rock truck. He and Kathey were married on December 28, 1982, in Gainesville, TX. and they made their home in the Fox area. Together they began a Hay Baling operation, baling hay for all who allowed it. He loved baling hay. Ralph also loved going to church and was a long-time member of the Milo Baptist church. He and Kathey loved driving the backroads and eating at all the restaurants in the area. Ralph loved his family and was quite the jokester.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife Kathey on July 27, 2023; son-in-law, Gary Mitchell; brother, Glenn Needham and his wife Teresa; stepsons, Bud Walker and Jimmy Walker.

Survivors include his children, Paula Hall and husband Darrell of Oklahoma City, OK, Sherri Mitchell and significant other, Kerry Edingfield of Moore, OK, and Gena Wise and husband Chris of Fox, OK; step-children, Brenda Priddy and husband Kent and John Walker and significant other, D.K.; grandchildren, Bryan Perkins and wife Liz, Courtney Wallace and husband Steven, Forrest Mitchell, Ashley Branch and husband TJ, Dakota Mitchell and wife Jessi, Dalton Wise and wife Lacey, Devin Wise and wife Jessi, and Chance Wise; step-grandchildren, Edith Summy and husband Vince, Carrie Taylor and husband Zach, Candice Stewart and husband Walter, Melissa Sistos and husband Jose, Stormie Palmer and husband Brian, Jason Bivings and wife Tasha, Amanda Holbrook and husband Caleb, J.J. Cook and husband Sam, and Janie Walker; brother, Bill Needham and wife Tinky; 27 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; numerous other family and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Klay Vernon, Kaden Reynolds, Austin Story, Ricky Palmer, Braxton Palmer, and Jacob McDonald.

Family visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton.
