Quentin Michael Fulton

Wilson – Graveside Services for Mr. Quentin Michael “Mike” Fulton, 72, of formerly of Wilson, is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, January 30, 2012 at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson with Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mike was born June 3, 1939 at Wilson to the late Mr. Paul Ernest Fulton and Mrs. Virginia Vesta (Wilkerson) Fulton. He departed this life Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home in Marietta.

Mike was raised in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1957 .He attended college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant and received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Ed and a Minor in Science. He and the former Ms. Tura Abbott were united in marriage on October 25, 1968 at Denton, TX.

Mike worked as a Band Director at Wilson and Lone Grove. He also owned and operated “Mikes Auto” in Wilson and was a cross country truck driver until his retirement. He and Tura had been residents of Marietta since 2003.

Preceding him in death are his Parents; Granddaughter – Callie Fulton; Son – Michael Kirk Fulton and Daughter-in-law, Connie Fulton.

Survivors include his Wife Tura of the home; Sons, Royce Fulton of Bridgeport, TX, and Carlen Fulton and wife Sheila of Wilson; Brother, Billy Paul Fulton and wife Charlotte of Houston, TX; Grandchildren, Caleb, the late Callie Fulton, Carson, Caylen, Cason and Carter Fulton, Joseph Alpha, Tiffanie and Kodey LaMont; Close family friends, Chris Hacker of Lone Grove, and Paula Aycox of Ringling. Numerous other family and friends.

Honorary Bearers are Chris Hacker, Donnie Aycox, William Kinard, Billy Asbery, Caleb Fulton, Randy Chapman, and David Shores.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday Evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
