Peggy Ann Graham

A Celebration of life service will be held for Peggy Ann (Copeland) Graham at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Dickson Community Center in Dickson, OK. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Peggy was born May 1, 1940, in Temple, Ok. to the late Mr. George Oliver Copeland and Mrs. Winnie Mae (Sanders) Copeland. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Peggy was raised in Temple, OK where she attended school graduating from High School there. She married the love of her life, James Graham on April 25, 1959, at Gainesville, TX. In April they would have been married sixty-four years. The couple resided in North Carolina as James was in the U.S. Army and this is where he was stationed for many years. Peggy was the bedrock of the family. She was blessed with three daughters but was a mother to many. Peggy was loved by all who knew her and was the absolute best at anything she ever done. The couple made their home in the Ardmore area, joining their extended families, around 1960.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Smith and Georgia Wise hunt; brother, Johnnie Joe Copeland; infant brother and sister and son-in-law, Charles Hale.

She is survived by her husband James “Jamie” Graham of Ardmore; three daughters, Margie Bare and husband Tommy of Kingston, Joanie Hale of Madill, and Alicia Graham of Ardmore; siblings, Felix Copeland and Nelda Brannock; Grandchildren, Thomas Bare and wife Alicia, Kyle Bare, and J.W. Hale and wife Taelor; Great grandchildren, Kailin Bare, Stella Bare, Jensen Bare, Hayze Hale, and Hudsyn Hale; numerous other family and a host of friends.
