Ardmore – Funeral Services for Mrs. Pearl Mae (Cearley) Lawson, 74, of Ardmore are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Landmark Baptist Church of Ardmore with Brad Pletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Oil Springs Cemetery on the Chatham Family Farm. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Pearl was born January 30, 1938 at Wichita Falls, TX to the late Mr. Allen Dread Cearley and Mrs. Daisy Lee (Chatham) Cearley. She went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her home in Ardmore.
Pearl was raised south of Wilson near the Bayou and attended most of her school at Wilson. She was employed most of her working years as a Beautician and lived at Stockton, CA. She and the late Mr. Richard Lawson were united in marriage on October 9, 1994 at Reno, NV. They moved to this area in 2003 where they enjoyed being with her family and attending church at the Landmark Baptist Church of Ardmore. Richard preceded her in death June 1st of this year.
Also preceding her in death are her Parents, Son, Michael Liebl – 1980, Sister Linda Sharon Clark, Brother, Jimmy Cearley and Grandparents, Jim Chatham and Grandmother Lula Redfield.
Survivors include her Granddaughter Kimberly Fagundes and husband Will of Davis; Daughter, Darlene Brewer and husband John of Modesto, CA; Sister, Joyce Pletcher and husband Don of Springer; Brothers Buck Chatham and wife Gail of Lone Grove, Don Cearley of Oklahoma City and Sanford Carrigan of Houston, TX; Special Aunts: Maxine Chatham of Oil City, Doris Chatham and Uncle Verdell of Velma and Charlene Chatham of Oil City; Grandson, Travis Jordon Michael of California; Great Grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Fagundes and Aiden William Fagundes. Numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Kenny Johnston, Ty Pletcher, Terry Busby, Cody Lee, Kyle Chatham, Will Fagundes.
Honorary Bearers are Roger Chatham, Brad Pletcher, Josh Chatham, Justin Lee and Don Pletcher.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
