Mrs. Pauline Basha (Gaddis) Patty, 96, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Born on January 8, 1929, in Mountain Home, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Mr. George Turner Gaddis and Mrs. Belva (Baker) Gaddis.
Pauline was raised in the Ringling and Dixie areas and graduated from Ringling High School. On June 21, 1947, she married Stanley McFarland Patty in Henrietta, Texas. Together, they fostered a loving family, blessed with four children: Deborah, Beverly, Penny, and Rocky. Stanley preceded her in death on September 10, 2003.
Known for her remarkable skills as a homemaker and seamstress, Pauline cherished creating beautiful dresses for her daughters in vibrant colors. In addition to her role as a devoted mother, she held various jobs that showcased her artistic talents, including producing illustrations for yearbooks. Pauline had a keen eye for fashion and enjoyed shopping and painting in her leisure time.
Mrs. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley, seven siblings: Lois, Letha, Maurice, Lorita, Jean, Sonny, and Ronnie and a great granddaughter, Emily.
She is survived by her children: Deborah Belobrajdic, Beverly Pearson and husband Bill, Penny Hammack and husband Dusty, and Rocky Patty and wife Ellen; her sister, Patsy Lively; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren: Nathan and wife Shonda and their children Logan, Willow, and Bailey, Joshua, Cassie and husband Eric and their children, Addison, Greyson, Lucy, and Luke, Gavin and wife Emily and their children William and Isabel, Christian, Zachary, Adam and wife Sara and their children Harper, Sydney, Tess, and Townes, Noah and wife Amanda and their children Delaney and Jarrett, and Lyndsay and husband Rodney and their children Ava, Davis, and Iyla; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson, Oklahoma. A private graveside service will be held at Crow Cemetery on Wednesday.
