Paula Jo Miller

Wilson – Funeral Services for Paula Jo Miller, 59, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, June 21, 2010 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Buddy Jackson and Rev. Dale Tarp officiating. Interment will follow at Tussy Cemetery in Tussy. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Paula was born October 23, 1950 at Hobbs, NM to the late Mr. Paul Gwen Hudson and Mrs. Jo Ann (Housh) Hudson. She departed this life Friday, June 18, 2010 at her home in Wilson.

Paula attended school at Healdton. She married Mr. Alex Miller June 25, 1968 at Wichita Falls, TX. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished her family and friends. Those of us who were fortunate to call her "friend" were truly blessed to have her touch our lives. She worked for numerous years as a habilitation training specialist, assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her respect, patience, and exceptional care enriched the lives of all the service recipients that she had the pleasure to work with. She was a tremendous asset to her profession and her expertise in the field will be truly missed.

Preceding her in death is her Parents, Grandparents and brother, David Hudson.

Survivors include her Husband Alex Miller of the home, Daughter, Melissa Henderson and husband Kevin of Healdton, Son Michael Miller of Wilson, Sister, Teresa Roberts and husband Melvin of Ardmore, 4 Grandchildren, Molly Miller, Logan Miller, Garrett Lambert and Devin Henderson. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be John Idleman, Jeff Idleman, Kevin Henderson, Carl Powell, Brad Bettis, Brock Tibbs and R.D. Powell. Honorary Bearer will be Earnie Miller.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7pm Sunday at the funeral Home in Wilson.
