Ringling - Funeral Services for Mr. Paul Thomas, 76 are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 at The Church of God in Divine Order with Rev. Ellen Abshire officiating. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.

Paul was born August 31, 1941 in Oneida, TN to the late Mr. Ether Morris Thomas and Mrs. Thelma (Kidd) Thomas. He departed from this life on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Ardmore.

Paul was raised in Oneida, TN. He married the love of his life, Wilma Ruth Miller on September 27, 1963. They moved to Ringling in 1982. Paul loved to fish and hunt and he enjoyed going to church where he was a Deacon of the Church of God in Divine Order. He also loved his dogs especially Baby Wizard Thomas and Lydia Mae.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a sister, Wilda Ruth Terry.

Paul is survived by his wife, Wilma Ruth of the home; daughters, Sharon Kay Ross and husband Bradley of Oneida, TN and Pat Gilmore and husband Alvin of Ringling; son, Tony Thomas and wife Susie of Orr; grandchildren, Donna Kay Parra and husband Lorenzo, Heather Renee Newport and husband Anthony, Aaron Bradley Ross and wife Kasey, Nikki Ross, Jennifer Rose Waid and husband Gerrard and Kevin Wesley Thomas and significant other Carrie Bracken; great grandchildren, Adrian, Jayden, Aubree, Rylan, Amelia, Blake and Weslie; brother, Leon Thomas, Bobby Joel Thomas; sister, Eva Lee Watson all of Oneida and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Pat Gilmore, Alvin Gilmore, Tony Ballard, Jr., Gerrard Waid, Tanner Lake and Chris Bell. Honorary bearers will be great grandchildren, Adrian and Jayden Parra, Rylan Griffin and Amelia Ross, Aubree and Blake Waid and Weslie Thomas.

A family visitation is scheduled for Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
