Patsy Joan Jones

Cheek - Funeral Services for Patsy Joan (Justice) Jones are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson, OK with Rev. Darryl Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Cheek Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Patsy was born on October 14, 1938 in McMillan, OK to the late Mr. William Patrick Justice and Mrs. Eula Eunice (Chaney) Justice. She departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore, OK at the age of 79 years, 0 months, and 20 days.

Patsy was raised at McMillan and attended school at Dickson. She married George Elmer Jones on August 12, 1955 in Ardmore. They made their home at Cheek residing there all of their adult lives. Mrs. Jones worked outside the home for Fines Dept Store and Oliver’s Shoe Store for several years. Patsy was a devoted homemaker mostly caring for her husband and their four sons. She loved to watch dirt track racing, playing the guitar, canning and cooking. Patsy enjoyed attending the Country Tabernacle at Cheek.

Preceding her in death are her parents; siblings, Floyd Justice, Bill Justice, Dewey Justice, Lucille Robinson, Juanita Smith, and Delouise Cornelison and granddaughter, Alicia Joy.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, George Elmer Jones of the home; sons, Allen Jones and wife Donna of Van Buren, AR, David Jones and wife Coy of Lone Grove, Ronald Jones of Lone Grove, Marty Jones and wife Barbara of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Allen Ray, Sonia, Stacey, Michael, Patrick, Chris, Kimberly, Cody, Jennifer, Matthew, Crystal, and Michael; numerous great-grandchildren; many cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Marty Jones, Ronald Jones, Richard Brownlee, Michael Moyers, Jody Cornelison, and Cody Jones.

Honorary casket bearers will be her sons, David and Allen Jones, all grandsons and nephews.

Visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson on Monday from 6-8 pm.
