Patsy Ann Lane

April 10, 1935 — April 17, 2010

Wilson – Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Lane, 75, of Wilson will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with Rev. Ron Elmore and Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Duncan. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Pat was born April 10, 1935 in Okemah, OK to the late Mr. Charlie Herbert Carper and Mrs. Eudola Bill (Baker) Carper. She departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Norman, OK.

Pat was raised in the Weleetka area attending school there. She and Mr. Joe Von Lane were married April 6, 1958 at Gainesville, TX. She moved from Duncan to the Wilson area in 1970. She was employed at Bullard’s Oilfield Service from 1972 until she retired in 2000 as a bookkeeper. She and Joe enjoyed dancing and they were members of Happy Trail Ballroom and the Moose Lodge. She was also a member of Clicky Chicks Clogging Group.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and best friend, Joe Von Lane September 8, 2006, a brother, Larry, and a sister, Carolyn.

Survivors include daughters, Sherri Noe and husband Steve of Tuttle and Randie Case of Ardmore; sons, Bret Lane and wife Vicki of San Diego, CA and Bart Lane and wife Melissa of Dallas, TX; sisters Bobbie Postert of Midwest City, Betty Jackson and husband Bill of Okemah, Bennie Henderson of Okmulgee and Rose Reddick and husband Dalton of Checotah; brothers Jerry Carper and wife Barbara of Owasso and Bud Carper and wife Carolyn of Broken Arrow; 8 grandchildren Rhiannon Sullivan and husband Edward, Ryan Noe, Seath England and wife Kandra, Tara Moore and husband Justin, Alex and Joe Angle, Nik Lane, Hunter Lane and Joseph Von Lane, II, 2 great grandsons, Avery England and Maxwell Sullivan, great granddaughter, Elanor Sullivan and one on the way. God son, Jimmy Bullard and a great God son, Logan Bullard. Sister – In- Law Betty Sparks and husband Buddy of Duncan, Brother – In – Law Jerry “Cotton” Lane also of Duncan and beloved pups, Teddy and Lucky and feathered friend Fred. Numerous other relatives and close friends.

Pall bearers will be , Owen Longest, Jimmy Bullard and Mike Tripp & nephews Larry Jozwiak, Paul Jozwiak, & Shawn Lane.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Bullard, Travis Phillips, & brothers-in-law Jerry “Cotton” Lane, Buddy Sparks, Bill Jackson and Dalton Reddick.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.
