Patricia Margaret Pratt

October 23, 1945 — February 2, 2016

Shawnee- Memorial Services for Patricia "Patty" Margaret Pratt, 70 are scheduled for 3pm Saturday Feb. 6, 2016 at the Northridge Church of Christ of Shawnee with Jody Jones officiating. Private burial services were held earlier at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Patricia "Patty" Margaret Pratt was born on October 23, 1945 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Conrad Pratt and Mrs. Melba Jane (Bradburn) Pratt. She departed this life Tuesday, February 2. 2016 at the St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee.

Patty's father Conrad Pratt founded and co-owned, with his brothers "Pratt Grocery" store chain. She was raised mostly in Ardmore, matriculating Ardmore High, and then attending East Central and earning her Bachelor of Arts in drama at Oklahoma University. She participated in theater at university and also Lyric Theater. She then left for a 10 year stint in New York, traveling the east coast, part of the time, doing barn dinner theater. She had the lead role in "Fiddlers on the Roof" in Dallas, TX. She also worked at "Six Flags Over Texas" doing theater. Later on she worked for KOMA in Oklahoma City and Radio Disney in Chicago and Dallas.


Patty has resided at Shawnee for the last eight years where she has enjoyed attending and being a member of the Northridge Church of Christ. She also was a past member of the Central Church of Christ in Ardmore and Churches of Christ in Dallas and Frisco, TX.


Preceding her in death was her Parents; brother, Conrad, Jr. "Connie", and sister Mary Kay.


Survivors include numerous cousins including, Tommy Ray and Irene Jones of Chandler, Sharon Jones of Chandler, Gina Davis of Wilson, Alan and Janie Buck of Chandler and Jody and Raeanne Jones of Prague; numerous friends including Jon & Lori Flowers of Shawnee.
