Ringling - Pamela "Pam" Diann (Lewis) Ashley, age 55, of Blanchard, departed this life on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
Pam was born on August 23, 1964 in Ardmore, OK to Mr. Terry Lewis and Mrs. Pat Lewis. In 1973 Harold Lester became her step father and he raised her as his own.
Pam graduated from Ringling High School in 1982 and went one year at OSU. Then came home and went to Southern Oklahoma Technology Center. There she became state HOSA President and National HOSA Officer, and a state and national HCTE member. During this time she became a Certified Medical Assistant. She then received a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Health Occupation from UCO. She taught one year at Central Oklahoma Technology Center in Sapulpa before she went to teach Health Science Technology and Medical Assistance at Metro Tech in Oklahoma City. She later became Assistant Director of the Health Career Center, before becoming the Director and then she became the Dean of Instruction up until the present time.
Pam married Mr. Bryan Ashley on June 15, 2003 in Oklahoma City and together they made their home in Blanchard.
She is preceded in death by her father, Terry Lewis; grandparents, Allen and Marie White, Lynn and Rachel Lewis and Mom Lester.
Pam is survived by her husband Bryan Ashley of the home; parents, Harold and Pat Lester of Courtney; step children, Alex and Garrett Ashley; sister, Cindy Lambert and husband Steven of San Angelo, TX; step brothers, Mike Lester and wife Marilyn of Courtney, Kurt Lester and wife Jill of Ardmore; step sister, Vicki Cox of Ringling; a very good friend, Wanda Potts of Edmond; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Cliff Smith, Clint Smith, Josh Lester, Branon Lester, Shane Cox and Kurt Lester.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ringling High School Class of 1982.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
