Owen Henry Long

Mr. Owen Henry Long III, age 38, of Wilson, departed this life on November 15, 2019 near Inez Kentucky. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.

Owen was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma and attended school in Wilson. He had worked in the oilfield. He was a fun loving person with a great sense of humor. If you were his friend he always had your back. Owen loved his family and friends and had a close relationship with his grandmother Betty Lee. He enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash and "A boy named Sue" was always his favorite song. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Owen Long; grandparents, Mr. Owen Long and Mrs. Betty Long-Lee; and a cousin "Lil Woody" Woody Smith.

He is survived by his stepmother, Ashley Long of Velma; son, Owen Henry Long IV of Wagoner; brother, Adam Long of Velma; sister, Ashlen Long of Velma; and a step son Frank Vaughn of Holdenville; Numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.
