Ringling – Funeral Services for Mr. Arvie Otto Wade, 94, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Gospel Tabernacle Church of Jesus Christ of Ringling with Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Arvie “Otto” Wade was born April 10, 1920, near Center Point, Oklahoma, one of 14 children of Charlie and Alice (Hawkins) Wade. He attended Center Point School through eighth grade.

He married Rebecca “Allene” Daniel on October 7, 1938, and they lived in the Center Point area until he became manager for the Langford Ranch near Byers, Texas. After forty years as ranch manager, they moved back to Center Point where he continued to farm and ranch until his retirement in 2007.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Ringling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Billy Don Wade and grandson Cody Wade. Also preceding him were brothers Ozeal, Chesley, Melvin, Orb, and L.V., and sisters Beatrice Wade, Thelma Pemberton, and Beulah Hammons.

He is survived by his wife, Allene of 76 years, sons Sherrell and wife Dean of Byers, TX, Charles and wife Lana of Ringling, Corky and wife Judy of Byers, TX; brother Jake Wade and wife Toppy; sisters Alpha Morris and husband Billy, Ella Morris, Drue Patrick and husband Don and Ollie Patrick and husband Junior, all of Ringling; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special “Thank You” to all the caregivers and Cross Timbers Hospice of Ardmore for their kind felt care and support.

Casket Bearers are Jimmy Morris, Bob Earl Stewart, Allen Wade, Guy Wade, Jimmy Wade, Joe Davidson and Tom Roberts.

Family visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
