Ardmore - Funeral services for Oleta Jean (Pickelsimer) Barnett, 57, of Wilson, are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the St. Philips Episcopal Church at Ardmore with Father Stephen Bilsbury officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Park of Ardmore. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home.

Oleta was born on March 1, 1958 at Duncan, OK to the late Mr. Hershell Maynard Pickelsimer and Mrs. Wilma Nadine (Petty) Pickelsimer. She departed this life on Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home in Wilson.

Oleta was raised in Fox, attending all of her school years and graduating from there. After graduating, she married Mr. Danny Barnett on June 14, 1977 at Gainesville, TX. and together they resided at Wilson. Danny preceded her in death on June 2, 2012. During Oleta’s married life she attended nursing school becoming an LPN. She worked numerous jobs, but primarily worked in the Home Health Care industry. Oleta loved cats, flowers, and she also liked to sew and knit.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Danny Barnett.

Survivors include her brother, William C. “Bill” Webb, Jr. of Wilson; nephew, Gregory B. Webb; great nieces, Sophia Grace Webb and Olivia Leigh Webb; numerous other family and friends.
