Olen Keith Thompson

Wilson- Memorial Services for Mr. Olen "Keith" Thompson, 75 are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Ronnie Carroll officiating. A private interment will be held earlier prior to the memorial service at the Orr Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Keith was born March 6, 1943 in California to the late Dennis Dean Thompson and Margarette Ocie (Hanks) Thompson. He departed this life Tuesday,July 17,2018 in Wilson. Keith was raised at Orr attending school there until its closing, he then attended school at Ringling. He married at the age of 17 to Linda Gail Wigham and to this union they were blessed with three boys, Joe Keith, Freddie Brent, and Chad Eric. Later on in life he married the former Cindy Sackett where they were blessed with a daughter, Chainey.

Keith worked in the oilfield most of his life where he done a lot of offshore work. Keith resided south of Wilson for many years where he enjoyed coon hunting,farming, and ranching.Keith always enjoyed being with his family; especially his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; son, Joe Keith Thompson,and sister Linda Joy Thompson.

Keith is survived by his children, Chainey Austin and husband Stephen of Oklahoma City; Chad Thompson and wife Amy of Coalgate, and Brent Thompson of Ringling; grandchildren, Zane Willis, Zeb Willis, Alicen Pettigrew, Cooper Austin,Alivia Austin, and Ellia Austin; one great grandchild,Harbor Hart and a host of other family and friends.

Honorary bearers are the late Marvin Mckinnon the late Junior Whatley, David Vernon, Truman Patty, and Ron Thompson.

A family Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
