Ringling- Ola Louise (Miller) Allen Barnes, 95, of Ringling, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at her home in Ringling. She was born February 5, 1929, at Grady, to the late Mr. Logan Miller and Mrs. Alma (Burgess) Miller.
Growing up in Ringling, Ola attended school at Atlee, where she began to forge the vibrant spirit that would define her life. At a young age, she married Mr. L.D. Allen, and together, they embarked on numerous journeys as L.D. worked with Halliburton. Their travels brought them a wealth of experiences, creating cherished memories until L.D. preceded her in death on September 30, 1992. In 1994, Ola found love again with Mr. Delbert “Buck” Barnes. They settled in Oklahoma City, where Ola lent her talents to a gift shop and worked as a cashier’s clerk at Will Rogers Airport for many years. Her dedication to her work was mirrored in her devotion to her home and family. After retiring, Ola and Buck returned to the Ringling area, where she embraced life as a homemaker. Ola had a penchant for decorating her home, often rearranging her living space each month to keep it fresh and inviting. She took great pleasure in visiting antique stores, acquiring unique decorations, and adorning her yard with delightful pieces that reflected her vibrant personality. Beyond her love for homes and decorations, Ola held a special place in her heart for the children in her neighborhood.
