Norma Lee (Moore) Drury
Ratliff City- Services for Mrs. Norma Lee (Moore) Drury, 79, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Ratliff City with Rev. Roger Sims officiating. Interment will follow at the Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Norma Lee (Moore) Drury was born on July 9, 1936 at Elmore City to the late Mr. Preston Jackson Moore and Mrs. Darkys Amanda (Johnson) Moore. She departed this life Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Lawton.
Norma was raised at Elmore City. Her mother passed away when she was very young and she was primarily raised by her grandmother, Anna Johnson and her Aunt, Lillian Johnson. She married Mr. Onis Dale Drury December 24, 1951 at Ardmore. Soon after marriage Mr. Drury was selected for the military. While he served in Germany Norma stayed with his parents, Mr. John A. and Mrs. Nora Drury. Norma was a devoted homemaker most of her working years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City and always enjoyed the good church messages. She especially loved shopping for her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Onis Dale Drury on March 7, 2006; sisters, Oleata Daphine Steele, Mildred Louise Griggs, and Imogene Lynch; two half brothers, Jr. Moore and Larry Moore.
Survivors include her two sons, Randy “Randall” Drury and wife Sandra of Countyline, Steve “Steven” Drury of Ratliff City; half sister, Carol; 6 grandchildren, Dayna Jackson and husband Dalton, Jennifer Drury, Scott Drury, Dustin Drury and wife Shannon, Kyle Drury, and Jessica Drury; 5 great grandchildren, Dylan Jackson, Derek Jackson, Brett Drury, Easton Drury, and Andrew Caldwell.
Casket Bearers are Dustin Drury, Kyle Drury, Scott Drury, Dalton Jackson, Brent Perkins, and Kent Perkins.
Family visitation will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 5pm to 7 pm at Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
