Mildred Emmarine Walker

Wilson- Funeral Services for Mildred Emmarine (Calvery) Walker, 91, of Healdton are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday April 3, 2012 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with David Brassfield officiating. Interment will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, OK. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mildred was born June 1, 1920 at Grady, OK to the late Mr. Barney Dennis Calvery and Gracie (Hamilton) Calvery. She departed this life Friday, March 30, 2012 at a nursing home facility in Ardmore.

Mildred was raised in the farming communities of Grady and Roosevelt. At the Age of 16 she married the Mr. William Risenhoover at Cold Springs, OK on September 5, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1994. She later married Mr. Gene Maples and then Mr. Kenneth Walker and they too both preceded her in death.

Mildred loved to fish, garden, and to play bingo and dominoes. She was always a great cook and has been a resident of the Healdton area most of her adult life and was of the Baptist Faith.

Also preceding her in death are her Parents; Brothers, Ira, Willard, Joe, Clyde and Floyd; Sisters, Marie, Bonnie and Pearl; and 1 Great Great Granddaughter, Autumn.

Survivors include her Daughters, Hester Ann Thompson and husband Charles of McCloud, and Alice Faye Hartman and Calvin Lee of Ardmore; Son, Billy Risenhoover and wife Karen of Ada; Numerous nieces and nephews; 6 Grandchildren, Dennis, Peggy, Punk, Paula, Kevin and Cindy; 21 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Punk Hartman, Dennis Thompson, Kevin Risenhoover, Greg Davison, Bradley Davison and Caleb Turner.

Serving as an Honorary Bearer will be Ray Current.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday at the funeral home in Wilson.
