Mike David Dunn

Healdton - Graveside services for Mike David Dunn, 98, of Healdton is scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday Nov. 20, 2020 at the Mount Olive Cemetery with son in law, Kenneth Wiley officiating with Dr. Jimmy Jackson providing the eulogy. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home.

Mr. Mike David Dunn was born September 5, 1922 at Healdton to the late Mr. Robert Aaron Dunn and Mrs. Mattie Mae (Whitener) Dunn. He departed this life Wed. Nov. 18, 2020 at the Wilson Nursing Home.

Mr. Dunn was born and raised at Healdton residing there all of his life. He graduated from Healdton High School in 1941. He married the former Ms. Wanda Pendleton in 1942 and they shared 77 wonderful years together. Mr. Dunn worked in the oilfield for many years as a pumper. His passion was always being in the pasture with his cows. He loved being a rancher and his lifelong goal was to be a 100 years old and still be running cattle. Mr. Dunn was a hero to many and was a member of the Shell Street Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda - June 21, 2019; and seven siblings, Lucille, Golda, R.A., Maxine, Pat, Howardean and Billy Don.

Survivors include daughters, Susan Cottrell of Healdton and Sarah Wiley and husband Kenneth of Broken Arrow; sister in law, Wilma Pendleton of Wilson; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
