Micheal Bruce Grant

Micheal Bruce Grant was born August 14, 1957, at Las Cruces, NM to Mrs. Retha (Griffin) Grant and the late Mr. Harvey Grant. He departed this life July 14, 2023, in Corpus Christi.

Micheal began school at Zaneis where he attended until about the third grade. His family moved to Dumas, TX at that time and he finished the remainder of his school years there, graduating with the class of 1975. Micheal worked for many years at the Dr. Pepper Company until retirement. He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly. With the loss of Micheal, Sooner nation lost one of their biggest fans.

Preceding him in death are his Dad, Harvey Grant; grandparents, Bruce and Boots Griffin and Hailey and Eula Grant; father-in-law, Buck Kohl.

Micheal is survived by his wife, Diana (Kohl) Grant of the home in Rockport, TX; son, Brady Grant along with his children, Brodie and Anabelle Grant of Heath, TX; daughter, Wendy Vickers and husband Markus along with their children, Gianna, Finley, and Mark Vickers of Norman, OK; son, Sammy Collins and wife Heather with their children, Reese and Blake Collins of Baytown, TX; mother, Retha Grant of Ardmore; brother, Mark Grant and wife Dana of Longview, TX; sister, Michelle Hammock and husband Lindsey of Amarillo, TX; mother-in-law, Carole Kohl and sister-in-law, Lisa Kohl both of Rockport, TX; numerous nieces and nephew who loved their Uncle Micheal so much.
