Mike was born March 3, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK to Melvin Cecil Miller and Carol La Jean (Hodnutt) Miller. He departed from this life on February 11, 2016 in Wilson.

He was raised in Oklahoma City attending school at Edmond. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving honorably, mostly in Germany. After his honorable discharge, Sgt Michael Miller moved back to Oklahoma City, and soon began a career in the oilfield for most of his life. November 10, 1978 he married the former Jo Ann Walker and they were blessed with three blonde headed daughters, Shelley, Dayle Ann and Joanna. His life was his kids and grandkids, watching deer, attending the ballgames and checking on his girls. Not a day went by that he didn't drive past each of their houses to making sure they were alright.

'Big M', Daddy, Pops, Papa or just Mike, a man of many names and many talents. He was a loving husband, daddy, papa, brother, uncle and friend. There was never a time anyone needed him that he wouldn't drop everything to help anyone who needed him. Later in life he struggled with some illness that might keep an ordinary man down. Not him he could fix or out lift anything. He had a smile that brightened the darkest day and was contagious to all around him. No one ever mentioned him without mentioning his beaming smile and a great big heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Dale (Bobby) Miller, sister-in-law Vicki Miller, niece Amy Miller and nephew Jim Miller.

Survivors include his wife of the home Jo Ann "Annie" (Walker) Miller, 3 daughters Shelley Parker and husband Bubba, Dayle Ann Baker and Joanna Cormany and husband Dustin all of Wilson, 7 grandchildren Jeren Michael Baker, Hailey Danielle Caldwell, Jacob Wayne Parker, Kimberley Rachelle Parker, Justin Matthew Baker, Clayton Walker Cormany, Bailey Nicole Cormany all of Wilson except for one, 2 great grandchildren Kade Caldwell and Brooke Caldwell of Lone Grove, 2 brothers Jerry Miller and wife Gayla of London, AR and David Miller of Oklahoma City, and sister Cindy Hazel and husband Walter of Palestine, TX.

Honorary bearers will be Jerry Miller, David Miller, Walter Hasel, Cindy Hasel, Michael Baker and Tommy Blankenship.
