Memorial Services for Michael Lee Kinney, 58 of Wilson are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Ryan Humble officiating and Bro. Waylon Dancer assisting. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
Michael Lee Kinney was born August 31, 1957 in Yale, OK to Jimmie “Jim” Kinney and JoAnn Gray Kinney. He departed from this life Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Pasadena, TX.
Mike was raised in San Angelo, TX where he attended school and graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1975. He was on the swim team and a member of Central High School Chorale. Mike was baptized and received his confirmation at the age of 13 into First Methodist Church of San Angelo, TX. He was employed with Kinder Morgan as construction manager on Splitter Project in Galena Park, TX at the time of his death. The most precious thing in his life was his daughter Karli and spending time with her was his most enjoyable time. He had a great love for music, picking the guitar and singing. He enjoyed collecting Indian and Western art. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Cecil and Alma Kinney, Oscar and Lizzie Gray and by his sister Renata Kinney Pinkston.
He is survived by his parents Jim Kinney and JoAnn (Gray) Kinney of Wilson, daughter Karli JoAnn Kinney of Wilson a student of Lone Grove High School and her mother Belinda Tatum of Wilson, Belinda’s son Clinton Rich of Ardmore and T.J. Jordan of Admore.
