Michael Edwin Frasher

Michael Edwin Frasher, born July 25, 1953, in Walters, OK, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Wilson. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Harry Frasher and Mrs. Virginia Morene (Stricker) Johnson.

Raised in Duncan, Michael graduated from high school with the of 1972 class, marrying the former Ms. Judy K. Hire on December 30, 1972, at the Church of Nazarene in Duncan. Together they were blessed with two children, Chris and Chrystal. Michael dedicated 23 years of his life to Uniroyal Tire Plant in Ardmore which later became Michelin, before retiring in 1996.

Michael had a passion for classic cars which he would rebuild, showcase, and race. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy riding dirt bikes and three wheelers fearlessly. Among his hobbies was tinkering with various things that caught his interest.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Barbara Frasher who left this world at a young age of 13; and stepfather Woody Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Chris Frasher and wife Jimi of Ardmore; daughter Chrystal Baker of Ardmore; brother Harry Frasher of Eufaula; grandchildren Nathan Frasher and Austin Baker; great-granddaughter Avery Baker; nieces, a nephew, extended family members, and numerous friends.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.

The family expresses profound gratitude to Michael's dear friend Kirk Warner for the caring friendship he offered during Michael's time of need.
