Melody Kathryn Horsman

Lone Grove - Melody Kathryn Horsman, of Lone Grove, departed this life on October 27, 2022 at Mercy Memorial Hospital of Ardmore at the age of 69 years. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Melody was born on July 9, 1953 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Mr. Wilbert Edward Wiggs and Mrs. Deloris Jack (Barrett) Wiggs.

She was raised in Madill and attended school there graduating with the Madill High School Class of 1972. Immediately following graduation, she became employed with Uniroyal, having badge #932. She was employed there for 32 years and 8 months, working within the stock prep dept. Melody has been a resident of Lone Grove since 1978. She lived for her grandkids and loved watching football. Her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, W.E. Wiggs; and a stepson, Matthew Horsman.

Melody leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Joshanna McAdoo and husband John of Elmore City; son, Barrett Horsman of Minnesota; sister, Jayne Routt of Maysville; three grandchildren, McKynzy Epperson, John Roy McAdoo, and Jaci McAdoo; great grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Tony, and Cheyenne; nieces, Jodi Brewer and Hannah Wiggs; nephew, Cody Clint Brewer; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
