Missy was born November 21, 1968, at Dallas, TX to the late Mr. Albert Leroy Phelps and Mrs. Claudia Elaine (Parker) Johnston. She departed this life December 17, 2024, at Dallas, TX.

Missy lived a beautiful, dignified life. A discerning woman of exquisite taste, she provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. In 2010, she married her husband and that is when life for her truly began. Missy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her sole focus, and she worried over and took care of them until the end, sometimes to the exclusion of her own needs. She was a woman who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her passion for cooking for her family and her unwavering spirit will forever be remembered. Missy also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football with her husband, Terry. Together they shared a faithful canine companion, Harley, who brought endless joy to the family with her playful spirit and loyal companionship.

Preceding in joining the Lord are her mother and father, Tony and Claudia Johnson; brother, Leroy Phelps; grandson, Mikey Somerville.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Prince; sons, Michael Somerville and Gary Somerville; daughters, Brandi Cotton, Ashley Budlong, and Morgan Prince; daughters-in-law, Jennifer Hernandez and Kayla Cotton; brother, Michael Joe Holland; sister, Zolhn Dugar; 14 grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Somerville, Gary Somerville, Jennifer Hernandez, Brett McDonald, Miko Thompson, and Chris May “Cheddar Bob”.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8P.M. Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.

While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. A special thank you to her church family of Rexroat Baptist Church.
