Melissa Faye Morris

Ringling - Services for Mrs. Melissa Faye (Freeman) Morris, 50, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Bill Freeman officiating. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Melissa was born on September 7, 1967 at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas to the late Mr. Tommy Ray Freeman and Mrs. Wanda Faye (Williams) Freeman. She departed this life on Tuesday morning, June 19, 2018 at her home north of Ringling.

Melissa was raised in Healdton graduating from high school there in 1985. She began working as a certified nurses assistant and later gained her LPN's certification. Melissa worked for several nursing homes, hospitals and home health care's within the surrounding area. She was lastly employed for Professional Home Health Care of Healdton.

Melissa was united in marriage to Mr. Micky Lynn Morris on June 18, 1993 at Ringling. They shared a lot of wonderful moments together residing in Ringling. Melissa loved fishing and was the happiest when she was holding a fishing pole. She adored her many grandchildren and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringling.

Preceding her in death were her Parents; brother, Tommy Freeman, Jr.; grandparents, Buddy Williams and Billie Jo Gahagan and Father in law, Emmitt Morris.

Survivors include her husband Micky Lynn Morris of the home; daughter, Crystal Hawley and husband Jeremiah of Ardmore; son Hank Gregg, Jr. of Ardmore; stepchildren, Scotty Morris and wife Kim of Norman, Missy Thompson and husband Larry of Ringling; stepmother, Judy Freeman of Tyler, TX; sister, Rebecca Dixon of Kentwood, LA; mother in law, Pat Morris of Ringling; grandchildren, Harley, Haley, Malloreigh, Madison, Mason, Brittany, Dylan, Clay and Cole; great grandchild, Eli and special niece and nephew, Dailyn and Detroit; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Detroit Dixon,Jeremiah Hawley, Larry Thompson, Josh Walker, Wesley Robertson and Hank Gregg, Jr.

Honorary Bearers will be Harley Darling, Dylan Morris, Clay Morris, Cole Morris, Eli McKay and Mason Payne.
