Melinda "Mindy" Lea ( Hodges) Fox

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Melinda Lea "Mindy" (Hodges) Fox, 44, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Les Hacker officiating. Interment will follow at Simon Cemetery.

Mindy was born June 30, 1972 in Healdton to Mr. D.C. Hodges and Mrs. Bonnie Louise (Gray) Hodges. She departed from this life on Wednesday April 19, 2017 in Ardmore.

Mindy grew up in Wilson and attended Wilson Public Schools. As an adult, she worked as a caregiver in various nursing homes within the area as a CNA. She resided in Texas for many years but always considered Wilson her home. Mindy was always full of life and often had something funny to say. She loved her family with all her heart and was proud to call herself a gypsy. She married Allen Eldon Fox on December 21, 2007. They shared many wonderful moments together. Mindy will be missed for her carefree attitude and her contagious smile. She brought joy to many hearts and will be forever remembered.

Preceding her in death was her father, D.C. Hodges; sisters, Gail Grissom and Crystal Hodges; and brothers-in-law, Billy Van Eaton and Victor McMahan.

Mindy is survived by her husband Allen Fox of Wilson; children, Tiffany Manning of Ardmore, Kadie and Justin Sampley of Ardmore, Cody Turner and wife Alisha of Springer and Kayla Turner of Wilson; mother, Mrs. Bonnie Hodges of Wilson; grandchildren, Kaydence Colson, Victoria Manning, Chase Vernon, Matthew and Ayden "Batman" Turner, Dagger Lakey and Axel Sampley; sisters, Diana McMahan, Judy Van Eaton, Sherri Way and husband Tommy, Brenda Stone and husband John, Bonnie Jackson and husband Randall and Amy Hodges; brothers, Dennis Hodges and Danny Hodges and wife Christina; brothers-in-law, Les Hacker and Jacky Grissom and a host of other family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Dennis Hodges, Danny Hodges, Cody Turner, Lynn McMahan, Matt McMahan, David McMahan, Greg McMahan, Donny Hacker, Clayton Hodges, Braden Jackson, Joey Way, John Way, Dillon Hodges and J.W. Grissom.

Honorary Bearers will be O.L. Gray, Jr., Danny Gray, Richard Gray, Roger Gray and Pete Hodges.
