Max Olyn Shelton

Max Olyn Shelton, Jr. was born August 3, 1954 in Bay Minette, AL to the late Mr. Max Olyn Shelton, Sr. and Mrs. Maxine (Kilcrease) Shelton. He departed from this life on December 17, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Wilson Community Park.

Max was raised in Gainesville, TX enlisting in the United States Navy serving honorably. Max worked as a general laborer most of his life and could do pretty much anything. Even building his own Harley Davidson motorcycle from scratch. He enjoyed wood crafting and had a great sense of humor and could make you laugh.

Preceding him in death was his parents.

Max is survived by his sisters, Barbara Homan and husband Bill of Mannsville, Annette Wilson and husband Joe of Mannsville, Donna Shelton of Wilson, and Jane Newton of Trussville, AL; brothers, Ray Shelton of Lone Grove and David Shelton of Lone Grove; and by a host of other family and friends.
