Maude Yocum

Mrs. Maude (Ivie ) Yocum was born into this life September 24, 1929 at Orr, Ok to the late Benjamin and Lillian Weaver Ramming Ivie. She departed this life Monday February 11, 2008 at her residence in Courtney at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 17 days.

Maude was raised at Orr and Brushy Mound attending school at Orr; She married the late Harold Edward "Jack" Yocum at Gainesville, TX . They began their marriage at Brushy Mound, moving later to Courtney in 1962. She woorked at the Pants Factory in Marietta and cooked pies for the "70 Cafe" in Ringling.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in December 7, 2001; 6 Step Sisters and step brothers. She loved gardening and watching things grow. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter Jacqueline Renee Yocum of Courtney and a Sister Margaret Blodgett of Wilson.
