Graham- Funeral Services for Mary Stephanie Rose Verholtz, 12, of Graham is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Milo Baptist Church in Milo with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Milo Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Rose was born February 3, 2000 at Ardmore to Karl Verholtz and Rhonda Jeanne (Sweetman) Verholtz. She departed this life Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Oklahoma City.
Rose had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Her passion was music, just learning to play the piano and was a member of the Fox Band where she also played brass Instruments. Being a member of the 6th Grade Class at Fox Public Schools, she also loved to play basketball.
Rose loved animals and a member of the Milo Baptist Church where she was looked upon as being a prayer warrior.
Preceding her in death are those who accompanied her in the car accident, Grandmother – Beverly Roper and Mother, Rhonda Russell.
Survivors include her Granddad Ralph Fletcher of Meridian; Grandpa, Wayne Roper of the home; Sisters, Sara Watson and husband C.J., and Lydia Turner. Brothers, Micah Russell, Seth Turner, and Zedekiah Dilley. Numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Heirston, Kenney Spigner, Tommy Fletcher, James Peters, Michael Davoult, and the Senior Men’s Sunday School Class of the Milo Baptist Church.
