Mary Jo Barnes - Fish

Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Jo Barnes Fish, 83, longtime resident of Ringling, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Bro. Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Mary Jo was born on August 16, 1932 at Ringling to the late Mr. Johnnie A. Baker and Mrs. Ella Mae (Steward) Baker. She went to to be with the Lord and Savoir on Sunday evening December 13, 2015.

Mary Jo was raised initially at Ringling moving to Texas residing there some of her childhood. She always enjoyed attending her school reunions at Mountain Home every year. She was married to Delbert "Buck" Barnes and they resided at several communities following his Military occupation.

Mary Jo moved back to Ringling in 1972 and was employed at the school cafeteria as a cook. She loved attending church always being there whenever the door was open. She cared for many children and they all called her "Nanny Jo". Lastly Mary Jo was employed at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling where she served as a receptionist for many families.

Preceding her in death was her Parents; son Randy- August 9, 1972; daughter, Vickie Sue Davis; and sisters, May Dell Wilson and Doris Rogers.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Kay King and husband Chris of Lawton; son, Stan Barnes and wife Delcena of Ringling; sister, Shirley McCartney of Loco; grandchildren, Rodney Brierton, Stephanie Davis, Matthew Davis, Heather Dutton and Brady Barnes; great grandchildren, Dylan Brierton, Victoria Dutton, Joey Dutton, Wyatt Davis and Reagan Davis; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Rodney Brierton, Dylan Brierton, Matt Davis, J. Dutton, Johnnie Rue and Brady Barnes.

Honorary Bearers are Jerry Lawson, Thad Kassheimer and Chancey Greer.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
