Mark Alan Daniels

Lone Grove- Private Family Graveside Services for Mark Alan Daniels will be held at Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery with Scott Renfro officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Mark was born on October 31, 1957 at Ardmore Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Ok to William “Bill” Andrew and Peggye Anna (West) Daniels. He departed this life on Monday, December 26, 2022 at his residence at Zaneis.

Mark was raised in various towns and states due to his father working in the oilfield. Around the age of 8 years old, Mark started roping with the Miniature Rodeo Association (MRA) and went on to do bull riding around the age of 10 years old. Mark was active in basketball while in Junior High and was listed on the Honor Roll while attending welding classes at Vo-tech in Ardmore during high school. He graduated from Lone Grove High School in 1976. After graduation Mark worked for various refineries and nuclear plants doing TIG and MIG welding. When he was not welding, he was on the road working as a local and cross county CDL driver. Mark received several awards while driving including the Million Miles Accident Free award from Schneider Trucking Company. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, small engine repair and spending time with family.

Mark is preceded in death by his father; grandparents Gertie and Tollie Daniels, Ed and Mae West; and various aunts and uncles.

Mark is survived by his mother -Peggye Daniels, Lone Grove; sister - Billye Neher, Lone Grove; brother -Mike Daniels, Healdton and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Larry Emerson, Jerry Owens, Buddy Withers, Chris Howard, Jacob Rose and Scott Neher.

Honorary bearers are Dylan Neher, Jacobi Rose-Zimms, Damian Pierce, Rigen Howard, Tyler Neher, Hanna Renfro, Colin Neher, Kash Rose, Bella Renfro, Klay Rose and Boston Neher.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
